My passion is culinary travel. I hold a Masters degree in Gastronomy from Le Cordon Bleu Paris and a PhD in culinary history from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. I am the founder and publisher of Taste&Travel magazine.
 

I am a former Head of the United Nations University Press and have overseen the publication of numerous academic books. I have also served as Editor in Chief of a commercial publishing house producing consumer magazines.

I serve as a judge in culinary and food writing competitions. I’m a frequent traveller with a fascination for world cuisine. Taste&Travel magazine, which focuses on culinary tourism, was launched in April, 2011. The international digital edition is available on all major digital platforms.

In addition to my academic work, I am a travel journalist and food writer, experienced editor and book reviewer.
